Appropriate authority in the receiving state

As used in the first paragraph of Article V of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children,
the phrase "appropriate authority in the receiving state" with reference to this State shall mean the
Department of Health and Human Services. [PL 1975, c. 293, §4 (AMD); PL 2003, c. 689, Pt. B,
