Maine Code § 22-3183

General penalty

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter for which no penalty is specifically
provided shall be punished by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for not more than 11
months, or by both. If a recipient of aid is convicted of an offense under this chapter, the department
may cancel the aid. [PL 1973, c. 790, §2 (NEW).]
