Imposition of penalties; causes

The District Court may impose fines or revoke or suspend licenses for the following causes: [PL
1995, c. 470, §9 (NEW); PL 1995, c. 470, §19 (AFF); PL 1999, c. 547, Pt. B, §78 (AMD); PL
1999, c. 547, Pt. B, §80 (AFF).]
1. Violation of law or infraction of rule. Violation of state law or rule related to the sale of
tobacco products; or
[PL 1995, c. 470, §9 (NEW); PL 1995, c. 470, §19 (AFF).]
2. False material statement. Knowingly making a false material statement of fact in an
application for licensure of the sale of tobacco products.
