Maine Code § 17-1636

Posing as Indian in vending

A person who is not a member of the Passamaquoddy Tribe or the Penobscot Nation and who
represents oneself to be such a member while engaged in the vending of goods and wares is assessed a
fine of not more than $250. [PL 1993, c. 738, Pt. C, §1 (NEW).]
