Meeting to form parish

A person 18 years of age or older, desirous of becoming an incorporated parish or religious society,
may apply to a notary public, who shall issue a warrant to one of them, directing that applicant to notify
the other applicants to meet at some proper place expressed in the warrant. The applicant shall give
notice of the meeting 7 days at least before holding the meeting by posting a notification of the meeting
on the outer door of the meetinghouse or place of public worship of the society, if any, otherwise at
such place as the notary appoints. [RR 2025, c. 1, Pt. E, §33 (COR).]
