1. Prohibition. A person may not: A. Set or use any snare, trap or other device in the hunting of wild hares or rabbits, except that trappers may take wild hares or rabbits by box traps solely for the purpose of selling them to the commissioner as authorized by this Title; or [PL 2003, c. 414, Pt.
