Whenever the quantity is determined by the seller, bulk sales in excess of $20 and all bulk deliveries
of heating fuel shall be accompanied by a delivery ticket containing the following information: [PL

1. Name and address. The name and address of the vendor and purchaser;

2. Date. The date delivered;

3. Quantity. The quantity delivered and the quantity upon which the price is based, if this differs
from the delivered quantity, including when temperature-compensated sales are made, that fact must
be stated;

4. Identity. The identity in the most descriptive terms commercially practicable, including any
quality representation made in connection with the sale; and

5. Count. The count of individually wrapped packages if more than one.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, a vendor using a bulk sale delivery system
equipped with the capability of issuing an electronic receipt, ticket or other recorded representation for
a bulk sale may give a purchaser the option to receive any information required under this section
through electronic means, such as a cellular telephone, a computer or e-mail, in lieu of or in addition to
a paper delivery ticket. If the purchaser opts to receive information electronically, the vendor shall
obtain the purchaser's consent in writing, which may be through electronic means. [PL 2021, c. 579,
