Maine Needham Day

The last Saturday in September of each year is designated as Maine Needham Day, and the
Governor shall annually issue a proclamation recognizing the needham's place in the State's cultural
and culinary traditions. A state agency may promote Maine Needham Day prior to and on the last
Saturday in September using appropriate existing budgeted resources. [PL 2023, c. 10, §1 (NEW).]
