Termination of custodianship

The custodian shall transfer in an appropriate manner the custodial property to the minor or to the minor's estate upon the earlier of the following: (1) The minor's attainment of twenty-two years of age. (2) The minor's judicial emancipation. (3) The minor's death. Acts 1987, No. 469, §1, eff. Jan. 1, 1988; Acts 2023, No. 60, §1.
