Registers kept by recorder of mortgages in Orleans Parish

The recorder of mortgages for the parish of Orleans has his office in the city of New Orleans, and must keep two registers: (1) The first, to record all acts from which there results a conventional, judicial or legal mortgage, or privilege. (2) The second, to record all donations which have to undergo that formality.
