Powers and duties of auxiliary agents

A. Each auxiliary agent shall have the same enforcement powers as a wildlife agent, subject to the limitations provided in this Subpart, except that he shall be limited only to wildlife and fisheries enforcement on land. B. Each auxiliary agent may be allowed to carry weapons concealed or exposed while in the performance of his duties as provided for commissioned employees of the department under R.S. 56:53. C. Notwithstanding any provision herein to the contrary, an auxiliary agent shall not have any enforcement powers or authority as a wildlife agent unless he is on duty and is working under the supervision and direction of a wildlife agent.
