Butterfly and bottom nets; Oyster Bayou

A. In the body of water known as Oyster Bayou, located between Atchafalaya Bay and Terrebonne Bay, and extending one thousand feet outside of the points where Oyster Bayou connects with Fourleague Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, butterfly nets and bottom nets may be used to take shrimp only when suspended from a fishing boat or vessel which is motor propelled and underway. B. Any anchor or weight used to secure in the waterway the net or any object to which it is attached or mounted, including but not limited to any unmanned boat or vessel, floating platform, pontoon, or barge, shall be prohibited. C. Any rope, line, chain, or other device used to connect to the shoreline the net and any object to which it is attached or mounted, including but not limited to any unmanned boat or vessel, floating platform, pontoon, or barge shall be prohibited.
