A. A valid commercial gear license may be transferred for temporary use only to a person holding a valid commercial fisherman's license and having the same residency status as indicated on the license being transferred. Gear licenses that require qualification shall not be transferred and may only be used by the person to whom it was issued. B. A commercial gear license used by a person not holding a valid, original commercial fisherman's license and using gear under privilege of the commercial fisherman's license is subject to revocation. C. Violation of any of the provisions in this Section constitutes a class 2-B violation.
