Releasing game, fowl, or fish; permission; intrastate restocking; importation; violations

A. No pen-raised or wild animal, fowl, or fish of any species from within or without the state shall be liberated within the state except upon written permission of the secretary. B. No wild animal, fowl, or fish of any species shall be transported for restocking purposes from a site within the state to any other site within the state except in accordance with rules and regulations adopted by the commission. C. No person shall import any live cervid from outside the state. D. Violations of the provisions of this Section shall constitute a class four violation, as provided in R.S. 56:34.
