A. The secretary of state shall designate a small business advocate from the existing staff of the commercial division of the Department of State to implement and maintain the notification duties and functions required of the Department of State pursuant to R.S. 49:974.7. B. The small business advocate shall coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the website of the commercial division of the Department of State relative to the receipt of information from the office of the state register pursuant to R.S. 49:961. The department shall enter into an agreement with the office of the state register to arrange for the electronic receipt of the information on an ongoing basis. C. The small business advocate shall administer the Small Business Protection Act.
