EXAMINATIONS--INTERPRETERS FOR THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING §181. State examinations; interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing A. Any person who is deaf or hard of hearing and takes an examination which is a prerequisite for employment or licensing by the state or any of its agencies is entitled to be furnished, upon request, with an interpreter by the state or its agency. B. Interpreters appointed under this Section shall be compensated for their services based on the fee schedule established pursuant to R.S. 46:2370.
