Disasters; deaf and hard of hearing persons informed

A. During any time of a disaster, or threat of a disaster, television stations shall transmit information or instructions in connection with the disaster, or threat of disaster, to the deaf and hard of hearing by scrolling or other appropriate means of communication in order to provide such persons with the same information or instructions as is provided to hearing persons. B. For purposes of this Section, "disaster" means occurrence or imminent threat of widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life or property resulting from any natural or man-made cause, including but not limited to hurricane, tornado, storm, flood, high water, wind driven water, tidal wave, earthquake, landslide, mudslide, fire, explosion, hostile military actions, or other disasters.
