Clerk of court as recorder; duties

A. The clerk of court shall be the parish recorder of conveyances, mortgages, and other acts, as provided by law, for and throughout the parish of Orleans. B. For purposes of this Chapter, the term "clerk of court" shall mean the clerk of court of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans.
