SUBPART B. ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND OTHER DEMENTIA DISEASES

§2200.7.1. Legislative intent A. The legislature hereby finds and declares that: (1) It is the intent of the legislature that existing health programs and services educate healthcare professionals on the importance of early detection and timely diagnosis of cognitive impairment and dementia. (2) It is in the public interest to provide information to increase understanding and awareness of Alzheimer's disease and other dementia diseases. (3) It is the public policy of this state that healthcare providers in Louisiana have access to guidance and education outreach programs regarding Alzheimer's disease and other dementia diseases.
