A. It is the public policy of this state to protect the health, comfort, and environment of the people of this state. B. Smoking shall be prohibited in all areas of the Senator Nat G. Kiefer University of New Orleans Lakefront Arena. C. "Smoking" means the carrying of a lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe, or any other lighted smoking equipment, in addition to the inhalation and exhalation of smoke by a person from any form of lighted tobacco. D. Any person who violates the provisions of this Section shall be advised of the prohibition by university personnel. In addition, the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System may adopt rules to provide for ejection from the arena of any person who continues such violation after being so advised of the prohibition, such rules to be enforced by security personnel in accordance with board rules.
