Procedure for organizing the ambulance service district

A. At the same time as the governor appoints the initial members of the commission, the governor shall designate a time and place for the first meeting of the commission. The first meeting shall take place within sixty days from the date of the initial appointments. At the first meeting of the commission, the commission shall proceed to organize by electing a chairman and a vice-chairman. B. It shall be the duty of the chairman to preside over the meetings of the commission and to perform such other duties as are usually required of the chairman of a corporate board. It shall be the duty of the vice-chairman to act in the absence of the chairman and in case of the disability of the chairman.
