A. Any physician who shall perform or induce an abortion shall, subsequent to the abortion being performed or induced, provide his patient with specific oral and written medical instructions to be followed by that patient in order to ensure her safe recovery from the abortion. B. The provisions of R.S. 40:1061.1 shall apply to this Section.
