Noncompliance with Chapter; criminal penalty

A. No person shall conduct, promote, or in any manner participate in any boxing, mixed technique, or wrestling event or exhibition without the sanctioning of the commission. Any person violating this Section as a participant, promoter, judge, or referee shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned for not more than six months, or both. B. A person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this Chapter shall additionally be ineligible for licensure under the provisions of this Chapter for a period of five years from the date of conviction.
