Short title; legislative intent

A. This Subpart may be cited as the "Louisiana Government Performance and Accountability Act". B. It is the intent of the legislature that performance-based budgeting practices be established throughout Louisiana state government. The legislature recognizes the value of relating funding to expected performance in order to ensure efficiency and economy in the expenditure of state funds.
