A. The commissioner of administration may adopt rules and regulations to: (1) Require that all state property in the name of any state agency be placed in the name of the state of Louisiana. (2) Require that documents and records pertaining to transactions involving immovable property in which the state has an interest be filed with the commissioner. (3) Require the consolidation of procedures for the administration of state property into the division of administration. B. The commissioner of administration may: (1) Develop policies and procedures for surplus state immovable property, including tax adjudicated property, regarding their use, lease, and disposition and make recommendations for legislative action regarding the disposition of the proceeds of the sale of surplus property. (2) Develop a statewide plan for housing state agencies. (3) Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for state facilities.
