Hunting or discharge of firearms, when prohibited

A. Hunting or the discharge of firearms on roads or highways located on public levees or within one hundred feet from the center line of such roads or highways is hereby prohibited except by law enforcement officers in discharge of their official duties. Whoever violates this section shall be fined not more than fifty dollars or imprisoned for more than thirty days or both. B. In addition to such other law enforcement officers as by law are vested with such authority, the law enforcement officers of the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission are authorized to enforce the provisions of this section.
