A.(1) Every three months the board shall conduct an examination of: (a) Applicants for certificates of registration to practice as registered barbers; (b) Applicants for certificates of registration as instructors; and (c) Applicants to enter an approved barber college to determine their educational qualifications. (2) Notice of such examinations and the times and places thereof shall be given by mail to each applicant. B. The examination of applicants for certificates of registration as registered barbers and as instructors shall include both a practical demonstration and a written and oral test and shall embrace the subjects usually taught in colleges of barbering approved by the board.
