Licensing data to be published; summary of licensure requirements

A. A professional or occupational licensing board in this state shall publish on its website all of the following: (1) The total number of license renewals issued by the board statewide and by parish of residency. (2) The total number of new licenses issued by the board statewide and by parish of residency. (3) The total number of applications for license renewal that were denied by the board statewide and by parish of residency. (4) The total number of requests for a new license that were denied by the board statewide and by parish of residency. B. A professional or occupational licensing board in this state shall update annually the information published pursuant to Subsection A of this Section. C. Every professional or occupational licensing board in this state shall submit a typed summary, no longer than one page, identifying requirements for obtaining a full licensure status or practice of a profession or occupation regulated by the board in this state. The board shall submit the summary prescribed in this Subsection to the Senate Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection and International Affairs and the House Committee on Commerce.
