A person shall be qualified to receive a certificate as a polygraphist upon satisfying the following: (1) Has not been convicted of a felony that the board finds is directly related to work as a certified polygraphist pursuant to R.S. 37:2950. (2) Is a high school graduate. (3) Is a graduate of a polygraph course of not less than two hundred and seventy hours requiring not less than six weeks duration, and has satisfactorily completed not less than six months of internship training. (4) Has passed an examination conducted by the board, or under its supervision, to determine his competency and integrity to obtain a certificate to practice as a certified polygraphist.
