A. No person shall practice, or in any way hold himself out, or designate himself, as a physical therapist or a physical therapist assistant unless licensed by the board. B. A person employed as a physical therapist or a physical therapist assistant by the United States government, or any department, agency, or bureau thereof, shall not be required to obtain a license under the provisions of this Chapter. However, such person may engage in the practice of physical therapy outside the course and scope of such federal employment only after obtaining a license in accordance with this Chapter. C. A license issued pursuant to this Chapter does not authorize the diagnosis of disease.
