Officers of the board; meetings; quorum

A. The commission shall elect from among its own members a president, a vice president, a secretary and a treasurer, whose respective duties shall be prescribed by the commission. At the option of the commission, the office of the secretary and treasurer may be held by one person. B.(1) The commission shall meet once each month in regular session and shall also meet in special session at the call of the president of the commission or on the written request of three members of the commission. A majority of the members of the commission shall constitute a quorum, and all actions or resolutions of the commission must be approved by the affirmative vote of not less than a majority of all members of the commission. The commission shall prescribe rules governing its meetings and shall fix a place at which the meetings shall be held. (2) In addition to the requirements governing regular and special meetings delineated in Paragraph (1) of this Subsection, the commission shall hold a specially called annual meeting to fully advise the public of projects located in the port area that may affect adjacent landowners.
