Waterworks districts shall be subdivisions of the state and as such may issue bonds and levy taxes in accordance with the provisions of Part III of Chapter 4 of Subtitle II of Title 39 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950. Acts 2014, No. 158, §1.
