Naming of central fire station; city of Shreveport

The governing authority of the city of Shreveport may name the central fire station in honor of a former fire chief who meets the following criteria: (1) He served in the fire department for more than forty-five years and as fire chief for more than twenty-five years. (2) His service as chief ended prior to 1995.
