Conflict with other laws

A. Where other laws relating to the physical planning, zoning, effectuation of plans, platting, and other zoning purposes are in conflict with the provisions of this Subpart or with the home rule charter of the parish, the provisions of this Subpart shall prevail. However, where such other laws or provisions thereof provide for other and additional powers and authority, such other laws shall be applicable insofar as they are not in conflict with the provisions of this Subpart or with the home rule charter of the parish. B. Nothing in this Section shall be construed to displace, amend, supersede, or affect the provisions of the parish's home rule charter or any existing planning or zoning laws adopted pursuant thereto.
