A. Unless another penalty is in this Chapter or by the laws of this state provided, every person convicted of a misdemeanor for the violation of any provisions of this Chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. B. Any person who is convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of this Chapter herein or by the laws of this state declared to constitute a felony shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one year nor more than five years, or by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars nor more than five thousand dollars, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
