A. The driver's license or special identification card of an alien student or nonresident alien shall be canceled if the alien has falsified any information required in R.S. 32:409.1 for the purposes of obtaining a driver's license or a special identification card from the office of motor vehicles. The secretary shall notify the person who is the subject of the notice at that person's last known address. B. When a law enforcement officer places a person under arrest and seizes the driver's license or the special identification card in accordance with R.S. 14:100.13(B), the driver's license or special identification card shall be surrendered to the office of motor vehicles for cancellation.
