Regulation of compressed natural gas

The secretary shall have the authority to regulate all activities related to the safety of compressed natural gas and shall establish by regulation minimum safety standards for compressed natural gas compression and conversion equipment including the installation and operation of such equipment. For vehicles equipped for and capable of using liquefied petroleum gas, each vehicle shall first be inspected for safety of operation by an inspector of the Louisiana Liquefied Petroleum Gas Commission.
