Trade secrets; emergency treatment disclosure

A. With regard to trade secret information needed for medical diagnosis or treatment of a person exposed to a hazardous material, the state of Louisiana, through the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, hereby adopts as its own the trade secret provisions as found in Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act, 42 U.S.C. 11042. B. Nothing in this Section shall be construed so as to interfere with the duty of a physician to report actual or potential public health problems to the proper authorities.
