A. The commissioner may seek and obtain injunctive relief to restrain and prevent violations of orders issued under the provisions of this Part or in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted under the provisions of this Part. B. The commissioner may impose civil penalties for violations of the orders issued under the provisions of this Part or in accordance with the rules or regulations adopted under the provisions of this Part. The civil penalties shall not exceed twenty-five thousand dollars per offense. Each day on which a violation occurs shall be considered a separate offense. Civil penalties shall be imposed only on the basis of an adjudication of violation pursuant to an adjudicatory hearing held in accordance with the provisions of Section 3214 of this Chapter.
