Crime of making false statements relating to gaming

A. No person shall knowingly or intentionally make a material false statement in any application for a license to conduct gaming activities, casino operating contract, permit, or suitability determination pursuant to the provisions of this Title. No person shall intentionally make a material false statement in any book, record, form, or any other document which is required, compiled, or maintained pursuant to the provisions of this Title. B. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this Section shall be imprisoned at hard labor for not more than ten years and may be fined an amount not to exceed ten thousand dollars, or both.
