Providing alcoholic beverages to convict prohibited; penalty

A. No person shall sell, send, or give any alcoholic beverage to, or procure or purchase any such beverage for any person incarcerated in any state, parish, or city prison within the state. B. Whoever violates this Section shall be fined not less than ten dollars nor more than one hundred dollars or imprisoned for not less than ten days nor more than one hundred days, or both.
