§380.21. Establishment and location; purpose and use A. The Louisiana State Oil and Gas Museum is established as a facility in the parish of Caddo under the overall jurisdiction of the Department of State as more specifically provided in this Chapter and in R.S. 36:744(F). B. The Louisiana State Oil and Gas Museum shall be a historical, cultural, scientific, and technological educational institution whose primary purpose shall be to research, collect, preserve, and present, as an educational resource, documents, artifacts, objects of art, and the like that reflect the social, cultural, and economic history of the oil industry in Louisiana and the Caddo Parish area in particular.
