A. Upon an uncontested motion to stay or a joint motion to stay of the parties, the workers' compensation judge shall order a stay of the proceeding on a claim and the stay shall remain in effect as long as the parties jointly agree. B. If the motion to stay is granted, a telephone status conference shall be set at such intervals occurring at least every six months as directed by the workers' compensation judge. C. The provisions of the LAC 40:I.5705(A) regarding abandonment shall not apply to any matter subject to a stay order pursuant to this Section during the pendency of the stay.
