Notice of hearing

A. Notice of any division of administrative law hearing shall be issued by the division of administrative law in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950 et seq. B.(1) If notice of a hearing would be required to be given to more than one hundred persons, in lieu of the notice provided for in Subsection A of this Section and for the purposes of Part IV of Chapter 7 of this Title, R.S. 22:1961 et seq., only, the division of administrative law may give notice of the hearing by publishing the notice in a daily newspaper in each of the congressional districts of the state at least once each week during the four weeks immediately preceding the week in which the hearing is to be held. (2) Any such published notice shall state the time and place of the hearing and shall specify the matters to be considered at the hearing.
