A. Any lessor who is found by the commissioner to have violated or attempted to violate any provision of this Part, may be subject to a penalty under this Section, as determined by the commissioner. Each issuance, procurement, or negotiation of a single collision damage waiver shall be deemed a separate violation. B. A monetary penalty not to exceed five hundred dollars may be imposed for each violation. No fine or fines shall be imposed against a lessor, pursuant to this Section, which aggregates in excess of ten thousand dollars in any calendar year. C. An aggrieved party affected by the commissioner's decision, act, or order may demand a hearing in accordance with Chapter 12 of this Title, R.S. 22:2191 et seq. Acts 1989, No. 773, §2, eff.
