A. Any lands acquired, owned, leased, controlled, or occupied by such cities, towns, or other political subdivisions for the purposes enumerated in R.S. 2:131 are acquired, owned, leased, controlled, or occupied for public, governmental, and municipal purposes. B. No property expropriated or otherwise acquired for such purposes shall ever, directly or indirectly, be sold or donated to any foreign power, any alien, or any corporation in which the majority of the stock is controlled by any foreign power, alien corporation, or alien, or to any other state or political subdivision thereof so as to divest the sovereignty of the state wherein the same is located.
