§5121. Effectiveness of Chapter; continuance of certain tuition payments A. Awards pursuant to this Chapter may be made for the first time such that payments would be made beginning with the 1998-1999 school year. B. Students graduating from high school or who have successfully completed at the twelfth grade level a home study program approved by the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education during a 1996-1997 school year and thereafter may apply for and if otherwise qualified be eligible to receive an Opportunity Award, Performance Award, or Honors Award as provided by this Chapter. C. Students graduating from high school or who have successfully completed at the twelfth grade level a home study program approved by the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education during the 1997-1998 school year and thereafter may apply for and if otherwise qualified be eligible to receive the TOPS-Tech Award as provided by this Chapter.
