Manner in which leave may be spent

A. Every person on sabbatical leave for the purpose of rest and recuperation shall spend such leave in a manner calculated to attain that purpose. B. No person who applies for sabbatical leave for the purpose of study or research will receive outside compensation for such study or research, unless such compensation and such leave is approved in writing in advance by the president of the institution where such person is employed.
