A. The provisions of this Part shall apply to an anatomical gift or amendment, revocation, or refusal to make an anatomical gift. B. Subject to the provisions of R.S. 17:2354.2, an anatomical gift of a body or part of the donor may be made during his life for the purpose of transplantation, therapy, research, or education as provided in R.S. 17:2354 by any of the following: (1) An adult donor. (2) A minor donor, if he has been emancipated or authorized under state law to apply for a driver's license. (3) An agent of the donor, unless the power of attorney for health care or other record prohibits it. (4) A parent of the donor, if he is an unemancipated minor. (5) The guardian of the donor.
