A. The office of first assistant district attorney for the Twenty-Eighth Judicial District is created. B. The first assistant district attorney shall receive as compensation for his services, in addition to the annual salary to be paid by the state, an annual salary of two thousand four hundred dollars, payable monthly on his own warrant by the parish of LaSalle.
